Germany’s Andreas Wellinger became the new Olympic Champion on the normal hill in PyeongChang in Korea.
Andreas Wellinger who was fifth after the first round (104,5 m), in the second round landed on 113,5 m and won the gold medal. The silver medal went to Norway’s Johann Andre Forfang (106 & 109,5 m). Surprisingly, the podium was completed by his teammate – Robert Johansson (110,5 & 113,5 m).
The double Olympic champion from Sochi, Kamil Stoch (106,5 & 105,5 m), finished fourth. Poland’s Stefan Hula (111 & 105,5 m) who was the leader in the halftime, was ranked on fifth.
