Andraz Modić, who injured his knee in Brattleboro, USA in February, has decided to end his career and became an assistant coach of the nordic combined national team in Slovenia.
Andraz Modić who was born on the 23th of October, 1996 was participating mostly in the FIS Cup and Continental Cup competitions. In 2017 at the Universiade in Almaty he won a silver medal in the team competition while he was ranked 5th in the individual event. The personal best of the ex-ski jumper from SSK Logatec is 214 m from Planica 2017.
In the upcoming season the 21-years-old Slovenian is going to work as a assistant coach of the Slovenian nordic combined national team. That means that we’re not going to see him as an active ski jumper anymore.
