Clemens Aigner finished the Austrian Championships in Hinzenbach on the podium. Is he satisfied with the summer? What are his plans for the upcoming season?

Clemens Aigner was very happy after achieving his goal by  winning a medal at the Austrian Championships last Sunday in Hinzenbach.

I really wanted to win a medal here in Hinzenbach. When it comes to Bischofshofen, I’m not satisfied. My jumps weren’t good. The weather conditions were fair, almost everyone had the same amount of small headwind. However, in Hinzenbach it was very windy, there were lots of breaks between the jumps and the first round lasted very long. – told Aigner.

In general I’m satisfied with the summer season. The only competition which was very difficult for me was in Wisła, where I could have performed much better. All in all, I think that my performance goes in the right direction.

I want to continue training hard so that I can be strong enough til the winter and be able to perform on 100%. We are going to make our first jumps on ice-track soon.

My goal for the winter season is to jump on a high level and reach places in the TOP10. I’d love to win a World Championships medal in Austria. – told Clemens Aigner who was interviewed by our editor, Katarzyna Służewska.
