Ursa Bogataj and Nika Kriznar were the winners in the FIS Cup in Ljubno. Not only the winners were Slovenian, but also both podiums were occupied by athletes from Slovenia.
Ursa Bogataj won the first FIS Cup competition in Ljubno on Saturday, August 3rd with jumps on 93.5 m and 84.5 m. The 19 year-old Nika Kriznar reached the second place jumping 90.5 m and 82 m on the HS 94-hill. Spela Rogelj completed the podium on the third rank since she landed on 79 m and 82 m.
Maja Vtic (79m & 79m) and Katra Komar (79m & 79.5m), both from Slovenia, rounded the TOP5 up.
The second placed on Saturday, Nika Kriznar improved her jumping on the following day, providing a victory after jumping on 91.5 m and 92.5 m. Ursa Bogataj was second, landing on 91 m in both rounds. Jumps on 79.5 m and 85 m secured Jerneja Brecl the third rank.
Katra Kromar (80 m & 84 m) from Slovenia and the Austrian Claudia Purker (82 m & 83.5 m) completed the TOP5.
The leader in the FIS Cup overall standing is Spela Rogelj with 260 points. The second place is occupied by Valentina Sderzhnikova, Ursa Bogataj and Nika Kriznar (180 p.).
