The Norwegians took the third place in the team competition at the Summer Grand Prix in Zakopane. Check out what the team member, Johann Andre Forfang, told after the competition.

– The weather conditions were perfect, I was having fun. My jumps were quite good. My jumping has improved since last time. It’s to early to talk about the winter yet but right now I feel good and keep training hard.

-It’s a really hard summer for us due to Fannemel’s and Tande’s injuries but I really hope they will be back as soon as possible. Getting injured in the beginning of the preparation period is not good that’s why we’re trying to be more careful. Lately we have been paying a lot of attention to the weather conditions during the training sessions.

-When it gets to Tromsø, infrastructures takes a long time. It’s not the same as it’s in Poland where you decide that a new hill will be built and it is actually getting visible in a few months. We’re fighting with political problems that’s why I’ve to keep waiting patiently and hope that the hills in my hometown will appear at least while I’m still an active athlete.
