Chiara Hoelzl celebrated a quadruple triumph at home in Hinzenbach as she won both qualifications and competitions. Austria’s successful weekend was rounded up with two Austrian athletes on the podium today.
Hoelzl dominated the second competition by jumping 87.5m in both rounds, thus winning by a margin of 3.2 points.

the 22-year-old Hoelzl commented on her sixth World Cup-win. Her team-mate Eva Pinkelnig joined her on the podium as she reached the second place. Pinkelnig jumped 87m and 88.5m. The Italian Lara Malsiner achieved her first place on the podium in this competition. She jumped 87m in both rounds and became third.
Sara Takanashi once again missed the Podium (86m & 87m), followed by Maren Lundby, who completed the TOP5 (87.5m & 84m).
This Weekend, Chiara Hoelzl was able to extend her lead in the Overall WC (1030p.), but neither the second placed Maren Lundby (940p.), nor Eva Pinkelnig (859p.) will stop chasing the yellow bib. The next Chance to improve the position in the WC are the competitions in Ljubno (SLO) from Feb 21-23.
