David Jiroutek has been named the new head coach of France. He signed a two-year contract.

David Jiroutek’s last position was head coach of the Czech Republic. He was dismissed last January due to unsatisfying results, as reported HERE.

The first information from the French Ski Association was that Heinz Kuttin would be their new coach. Finally, the Austrian coach decided to take the position as a coach in Germany in the nordic combined team.

David Jiroutek will have 7 athletes in the team. His assistant coach will be Christian Hoffelinck, who was responsible for physical preparation of the athletes during the last weeks.
